Despite several challenges and responsibilities as a party leader, presidential candidate, family man and many more others, I was able to do all that while studying at Swedish Defence University and finally received my Master of Science in War Studies.
I studied both politics and war and learnt a lot more how to create and manage armed forces. I had special interest on how civilian institutions could independently and professionally collaborate with armed forces. I therefore, wrote my thesis on Civil-Military relations focusing on African countries. My thesis was: A Comparative Analysis of Civil-Military Relations in Burkina Faso (1987-2016): Internal and External Threats Inquiry.
It was indeed a great honour to have completed my Master of Science from the Swedish Defence University, the knowledge learnt is very useful for civilians like me to be able to deal and manage armed forces, in our struggle for democratic rule and once we become Commander-in Chief of the armed forces.
God is to be Praised.
